Sri Lanka Technological Campus (SLTC) with the vision of diversifying our student base, has a strategic objective of catering to foreign students and providing opportunities for them to study at SLTC. Hence we have pursued our established relationships to open up a few seats for the student intake of July 2021.

With the prospect of reactivating relations with Nepal that were officially established back in 2019 during Nepal visit by SLTC, the Office of Research and International Affairs (ORIA) of SLTC   strategically introduced a scholarship programme for Nepali students. This initiative is one of its series of new collaborations that will be strengthened during ‘the new normal’ and to promote SLTC as a destination for higher education among South Asian students.

Under this programme, currently three (03) Nepali students; out of the two students with a full scholarship and one student with a semi- scholarship are reading for Bachelor of Science Hons in Data Science and Bachelor of Science Hons in Software Engineering and the lectures are offered online. We are looking forward to having the students on campus soon enabling them to meet their fellow SLTCiants and exposing them to real university experience at SLTC.
