Sri Lanka Technological Campus (SLTC) and the University of Zagreb (UNIZG) have ongoing collaborations and scholarly cooperation. In order to strengthen the partnership between the two institutions, SLTC and UNIZG signed an MoU in March 2022. The MoU was signed between the Faculty of Economics & Business, of the University of Zagreb and the SLTC.





The objectives of this MoU are scholarly cooperation, mutual understanding and the creation of friendly relationships in the following areas:





  • Academic Exchange and Academic Information Exchange
  • Exchange of Faculty Members
  • Exchange of Students and Study Programs
  • Training and Visiting of Faculty Members and Staff
  • Development of joint scientific and/or technological research projects.

The 2nd Meeting of the Project Management Committee of the ENACT Project was held on 28 March 2022 from 2.00 PM - 6.00 PM onwards. The meeting was held online and the members of all the partner universities including Sri Lanka partner universities and EU partner universities attended the meeting. Representing SLTC, Dr. Nanda Gunawardhana, Project Coordinator for SLTC and the SLTC Project team members attended the meeting.





During the meeting, the progress of the project activities was presented and reviewed. The committee also discussed the upcoming transnational training programs that are planned for the Non-Academic staff members of Sri Lanka partners.

Focus group meeting discussions and the third project meeting of the IncEdu project (Developing Inclusive Education for Students with Disabilities in Sri Lankan Universities) took place from 24 - 25 February 2022 at Eastern University Sri Lanka.





Prof. Lelia Kiš-Glavaš and Prof. Martina Ferić from the University of Zagreb conducted the focus groups for Academic and Non-Academic members of the Sri Lankan Partner universities.





The 3rd Project Meeting of the IncEdu project was also held parallel to the focus group discussions. European partners joined the meeting virtually while all the Sri Lankan partners and Prof. Lelia Kiš-Glavaš from the University of Zagreb were present at the project meeting.















The two Nepali students who started their IT degree in the year 2021, visited Sri Lanka on the 4th of March 2022 in order to start their on campus studies. Here’s how their batchmates welcomed them at the airport.

The two students were also able to meet the CEO/President Eng. Ranjith G. Rubasinghe and Dr. Nanda Gunawardhana; Director of International Affairs on their first day at the campus.


Sri Lanka Technological Campus recently signed an agreement with Transilvania University of Brasov, Romania enabling student/staff exchange. This is a programme under the Erasmus + Learning Mobility for Higher Education Students and Staff between the EU Member States and third countries associated with the programme.





Under this programme students and staff can apply for short exchange programmes in the programmes of Engineering, Manufacturing and Construction and Business and Administration.

SLTC as a promoter of global education and international standards is a partner to four (04) ongoing EU-ERASMUS funded capacity building projects through which relations with the prestigious universities in EU  countries including Germany, Italy, Portugal, Croatia, Sweden, Romania, and Bulgaria are fostered. We believe that the involvement of SLTC in attracting EU grants to Sri Lanka on par with other Sri Lankan state universities is an outstanding achievement. 









Sri Lanka Technological Campus (SLTC) successfully held its first-ever Convocation on 30th of November 2021 at Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre with the participation of distinguished guests, academic & non-academic staff, graduates, and their parents. 













The event was graced by His Excellency Mr. Denis Chaibi as the Keynote speaker who is the present Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Delegation of the European Union to Sri Lanka and the Maldives.









Mr. Chaibi congratulated all the graduates on their achievement while also commending SLTC as a young university, for guiding and uplifting the skills of the students throughout their undergraduate life.

Emerging Tech Degrees, Study for emerging technology degrees at prestigious Deakin, AustraliakAustralia as on-campus student from day one





Under the academic partnership between Deakin University and SLTC that has been established to enable Sri Lankan students to gain an Australian degree through an ‘online to on-campus’ model of course delivery, 02 students were enrolled for July 2021 intake. The official welcome of the students and the parents was held on 09th of July 2021 via zoom.





Through this program,
students commence their studies in Sri Lanka via Deakin’s online Cloud Campus.
SLTC will provide local learning support to Deakin students including
face-to-face tutorials and student support services. SLTC also offers dedicated
learning facilities such as computer stations, fast broadband internet,
laboratories, library, classrooms and meeting rooms.
